    Thank you very much for your information! This port is a popular departure port for eastern Mediterranean cruises. Some cruises even feature an overnight in Venice giving cruisers the opportunity to tour the canals by gondola. Mediterranean cruises are roundtrip, therefore choosing a cruise that starts and ends in the same port of call will be cheaper from an airfare perspective.
